List: Eggs-travagant Easter Events

Easter is coming up this Sunday, April 24. If you haven't yet decided where to take the kiddos for egg hunting, here are a few happenings in our area:


Saturday, April 23:
First Assembly of God Church (3122 Montgomery Road), 10a-11a.  Each participant should bring two dozen eggs (candy, plastic, or real eggs that have been hard-boiled and dyed). Free snow cones and popcorn.


American Legion Post & Auxiliary Unit 618 (1 mile east of Willis on FM 1097), 12:00 noon. Easter egg hunt for children up to age 12. 


First United Methodist Church in Willis (200 N. Thomason St. Willis, TX 77318), 2:00p. Free event for all. Carnival-type games; cupcake walk; music; refreshments; pictures with the Easter bunny. 


Sunday, April 24:
Family Faith Church Easter Extravaganza, right after church service. 50,000 egg hunt. Free bbq; prizes; games; moon walk. This event will take place at all Family Faith locations: Huntsville, Willis, Coldspring, and Eastgate. 


Family Faith Huntsville will also host its annual Easter production of "Jesus the Miracle," with a costumed cast of more than 100.  Performances are at 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.
