Mercury Baroque Ensemble - Friday, Sept. 9 @ 7:30pm

On Friday, Sept. 9, Houston-based Mercury Baroque Ensemble will perform at SHSU in the Performing Arts Center Concert Hall. This is the first in a series of concerts sponsored by the School of Music at SHSU.

This particular program will consist entirely of music by Mozart. We hear that they will be playing two pieces that were composed by Mozart when he was only 16 years old. We have also heard that this group has played in Huntsville before, and that they were excellent.

You can buy tickets through the Performing Arts Center, which can be reached via phone at (936)294-2339 or via email at tickets@shsu.edu. Tickets are available to the general public at $15 each. For students and senior citizens, tickets are $12 each.
