Expanded View 05/13 & 05/20: “In space, no one can hear you scream.”

Farrington Building Room 102
Friday, May 13th & Friday, May 20th at 7pm
Free Admission!

As a part of the campus' planetarium series, this Friday and next Friday, the Physics department will be “exploring some of the most beautiful deep space objects through the eyes of the Hubble, Spitzer and Chandra space telescopes.”
The SHSU Planetarium contains the Mediaglobe I projector, which allows visitors to take a virtual journey through space. It also allows its guest to see the night sky as it would appear to someone in any part of the world, how it appeared in the past, and how it will look in the future. The best part about this is that it is FREE and open to the public. You don’t have to be a SHSU student to appreciate the beauty and wonders of the deep space!
We will be at the Café Texan this Friday, but we are hoping to be able to visit the Planetarium next Friday. If you have no plans either evening, then I highly suggest that you check this out! Seating is limited to the first 29 visitors.
