Sam Houston Memorial Museum-Upcoming Events

The word that I just received from the Museum is that “their volunteers have been sporadic in their visits” due to just recently attending the Folk Festival, and that is the reason why the Cherokee volunteers did not show up for their demonstration. They have not rescheduled that event, but they will be hosting the following demonstrations this month instead:

UPDATE: We have been notified that the May 28th Woodworking Demonstration has been canceled because the woodworker will be out of town that day (everyone needs a vacation!), but still come out for the Blacksmithing Demonstration that day! =)
